the M31 gallery of Soviet USSR Transistor Radios

Believe it or not, there actually WERE some very nice transistor radios made in the Soviet Union in the 1960s and 1970s, and here are a few of them...

Did I say, 1970s? -- Absolutely. There seems to have been some sort of 10-year lag time in cabinet design that went on behind the Iron Curtain, so there are a number of Soviet transistors from the '70s that look very '60s in design. Don't be put off by mfr dates after later than, say, 1966 -- if you do, you'll miss out on some "Hey, that's pretty cool!" cabinet designs.
