1964/65 Pizon Bros "Translitor Pocket 65"

Coat pocket radio, brass plated and thermoplastic cabinet

2-band MW/LW, six transistors (SFT), one diode, superheterodyne circuit
One standard 9-volt battery
Manufactured by Pizon Bros; Paris

A very slim coat pocket radio. The brass-plated speaker grille covers most of the cabinet face and is repeated on the cabinet's back face, including the hinged battery compartment. "Pizon Bros" is embossed in gold on a black reverse-plastic background above the grille. There are separate slide-rule tuning scales on the cabinet's top face: one for MW, one for LW.

Ads for the Translitor Pocket 65 appeared in the July and November 1964 issues of the French electronic hobbyist magazine, Le HAUT-PARLEUR.
