An "All-Transistor" radio that's named, "Corona Five" and is a two-transistor radio. There's also a Corona Five "All Transistor" radio that uses six transistors: the Corona Five PTR-61, with a cabinet and circuit nearly identical to the six-transistor Universal PTR-62B and the Candle PTR-62B, both also made by Tokyo Transistor Ind.
For me, the best thing about this radio is that its cabinet is made of thermosetting plastic, like Bakelite -- the black plastic surface is ultra-glossy and free of scratches. There were a number of other 2-transistor radios from the '60s that had thermosetting cabinets, and I'd love to find out what that was about.
