One of Crown's two "monster" shirt pocket radios, the other one being the TR-999, and no surprise here that these two models share the same chassis.
For quite a while I've given the production date of this TR-911 and the TR-999 as being, "circa 1959", but date stamps on several TR-911s that have shown up on eBay in recent years have shown me that these two models were most likely produced in 1962 — My bad, see the TR-911/TR-999 section on my Crown production date codes page.
