A 6-transistor radio with the same cabinet dimensions as the 1961 8-transistor Magnavox AM-80 "Companion", but less elegant and more squarish in design, though I think the round tuning dial saves it. Collector Joe Haupt shows an advertisement on his flickr page for this radio from The San Francisco Examiner, dated December 16, 1960: a Christmas ad, making the AM-60 a 1961 radio.
