c.1960 Mitsubishi 6X-515

Small shirt pocket radio, thermoplastic cabinet
3 5/8H x 2 3/8W x 1D inches (92H x 60W x 25D mm)
Six transistors, two 1.5v "AA" cells
Manufactured for Mitsubishi by Shirasuna Denki Mfg. Co. Ltd., Japan?

This is a small shirt pocket radio, just slightly larger than the Sony TR-620. It has a very sweet reverse-painted dial area and a white-painted grille. (Full disclosure here, I'm just guessing on the mfr date, based on other Mitsubishis sets.)

On his Flickr page for the 6X-870, collector Michael Jack states that Mitsubishi didn't produce its own radios -- rather, they were made by another manufacturer for Mitsubishi, most likely Shirasuna Denki, and possibly other manufacturers as well.
