An early Toshiba shirt pocket transistor radio — and a real beauty in any color! The first photo shows the red and white cabinet, but look closely in the photos below it at what looks to be a black/white cabinet accented by gold and red: the "black" is actually a very dark blue in color -- I'd call it midnight blue -- and you can see this deep blue color lightened a bit in two pics below: the "side-by-side" photo of the two different cabinet colors, and the photo showing the inside back of the dark blue set.
The "slide rule" format tuning dial wasn't used much by Toshiba on its vertical shirt pocket radios — the 1959 Toshiba "Penney's" 6TP-243 is a variation on the 6TP-219, and the 1959 Toshiba Trancel 6TP-348 is one other example of a horizontal slide rule tuning dial, and the 6TP-304 "Coffin" had a vertical slide rule dial.
