A short wave shirt pocket radio that's pretty stunning in design. A small and dignified red-and-gold oval cloisonne "Toshiba" badge is horizontally centered on a parabola-shaped speaker grille that is pretty much unique among transistor radios. The grille is contained in a raised plastic "frame" about 1/16" high. The tuning area above is all reverse-painted plastic: red, blue and gold on a white background. The MW (AM) band is marked in red numbering, the short wave coverage (4--12 MHz) is marked in blue numbering, and the six SW meter bands covered are indicated in a red band marked in both gold and white numbering. The cabinet body's front half is white in color; its back half is a light brown.
I think this 7TP-382S model and the more conservative looking 7TP-415S model are among the nicest shirt pocket radios made by Toshiba.
