As with the earlier 6-transistor Selga and actually almost all Soviet radio models, this Selga doesn't have a model number, just a name. (A Russian vintage radio website states that "Selga" means "open sea" in Latvian.) And as with the earlier Selga, this Selga has a reverse-painted tuning dial, though it's not nearly as appealing as the earlier Selga's dial. This cabinet has the same dimensions as the 6-transistor Selga's cabinet.
Manufacture of this 7-transistor Selga began around 1965, and the model continued to be marketed into the 1970s. "Made in USSR" is stamped on the cabinet's back face, indicating that it's an export radio, exported to both Eastern and Western Europe.
