I usually only display radios that are in near-perfect condition, but I think this set displays well even with its blemishes -- I'll get around to redoing the dial center, but the Motorola emblem is beyond my capacities. Otherwise, this radio is gorgeous, a Motorola that's not rare but rare among Motorolas for being so eye-appealing and not-too-weird-looking. In the photos below, it may look red in color, but it's really more of an orangish-red or reddish-orange. The other color here is a pale tan color, found on the vertical-louvered speaker grille, on/off knob, handle, and the cabinet back half.

As with all early Motorola sets, this one has an aluminum cabinet with its antenna placed inside a plastic handle, but this is one where the handle looks normal, like a legitimate handle. All six transistors here are Motorola, unlike the 1956 Motorola 56T1's Texas Instruments transistors that were stamped over with Motorola "M" logos.
