A big and hefty coat pocket radio with a nice red dial pointer in a starburst design on the gold tuning dial placed off-center at the top of a gold-colored mesh aluminum grille. On this example, the red and black paint on the Sylvania logo has worn off, as well as the gold paint on the embossed Sylvania name along the bottom of the cabinet face. I couldn't find any info on the "Eveready No.270 Battery", but judging by the large battery compartment and the standard 9v. connector that may have been added at a later time, it looks like the "Eveready No. 270 Battery" was some sort of large 9v.battery?
