This is a cheaper version of two earlier Royal 50 sets: No metal badge or name plate here, just a tuning dial with an odd red arrow dial pointer. Thankfully this white version doesn't have the fragile painted metal grille trim found on the black and aqua color versions. This set has the same chassis as the 1961 Royal 50H and the 1962/63 Royal 50K: The label on the inside back of the 50K doubles for the Royal 40 and the 50K -- see the photo below.
