Wow, is this a gorgeous radio -- it may look a bit "boxy" in design, but when you hold it in your hand, it feels just perfect. The gold-colored grille framed by the black cabinet face has such a rich look to it, rich as the Zenith name plate beneath it. Four little stars on the tuning dial add some unobtrusive decoration, and the textured face of the white cabinet back has one of those memorable Zenith stickers pasted on it. The chassis here is a 6KT44Z1 -- according to a Radiomuseum page, there was also a 6KT43Z1 chassis.
