As Michael Jack points out on his Flickr page, "This was made for Magnavox by NEC (Nippon Electric Company). It is essentially the same radio as the NEC NT-620 with a slightly less exciting appearance.... Both this set and the NEC 620 share the same transistor compliment and chassis."
