One of the more decorative transistor radios to have been produced in the 1960s, this Seminole 801 is the better and less-commonly-found of two versions: The more commonly found version, the Seminole TR-221, emblazons its model number along the bottom of the multicolored reverse painted star field, wrecking the whole effect, methinks...
This set's cabinet dimensions and layout share a lot in common with the c.1959 Sharp TR-202 (see pic below), though the chassis are different.
