Sony claims this TR-714 is the first shirt pocket radio with a short wave band. It's a bit big to be called a shirt pocket radio and a bit small to be called a coat pocket radio. The 1 1/2"-long short wave band covers 4 to 12 MHz, so as with other shirt pocket short wave sets, you're not going to get much fine-tuning or selectivity here! This example is missing its telescopic antenna that screws into the top of the set.
