I can't say why right now, but this radio and many other models like it were pretty much shunned by collectors (including me) quite early on. It may have been because they were discovered to be "not rare" and were produced in the early 1960s rather than the late 1950s. But let me say right here that this is a beautiful radio worthy of any collection. I've moved several hundred radios out of my own collection over the years, but for some reason I held onto this Viscount that I had considered not "worthy". I'm glad I held onto it — and I regret having got rid of all those other "not worthys"!
