This is exactly the same radio as the Westinghouse H-587 series, and it seems also to have been produced in 1956 as well -- I really don't know why there were two completely different sets of model numbers for this same radio. Westinghouse also produced radios in Canada, but this isn't one of them --the inside label here shows this set as having been produced in Metuchen, New Jersey. And usually a different chassis version doesn't warrent a different model number. Any thoughts? Please email me!
This H-618P7 model, as with the H-588P7 model, has a really fine cabinet face: a black grille and black body set against a mildly pearlescent white dial area. The tuning dials on all these sets have yellowed over the years in varying degrees, and this dial has yellowed a bit as well.
