c.1961 Westinghouse H-795P6

Shirt pocket radio, thermoplastic cabinet
4 1/4 x 2 1/2 x 1 1/4 inches / 108 x 63.5 x 32 mm
Six transistors, two 1.5v AA cells
Made by Westinghouse Electric Corp., Metuchen, New Jersey

This H-795P6 has the "Charcoal Gray" cabinet, and the H-796P6 has the "Aztec Red" cabinet. The slightly oblong chrome bezel around the speaker grille is really nice. I've marked this as a circa 1961 radio because the only thing I've found to date it is a September 1, 1961 ad from the Lansing Michigan State Journal, found on Joe Haupt's Flickr page (see image below). September seems a bit early for Christmas advertising for the following year's model, so I'd have to guess that this is a 1961 radio.
